Over time, some lines form the basis of habitual facial expressions and movements, or as disapproving eyes, and some other routes are caused by external factors such as air pollution and sun exposure.

Preventing and elimination of lines and wrinkles in our aging skin has become something of a concern of many people today largely on the premium our society places on a youthful appearance. Aging with dignity for some, may not without the help of a variety of cosmetic products or even plastic surgery! It is never too late to learn what elements can be quickly folds, and what you can do to slow the inevitable aging process.

Cigarette smoking, not only bad for your health, has been known to contribute to wrinkles and aging skin . Smoking for a number of years may cause the deep lines of your lips.

Air pollution and the impact on our ozone layer is known to be important antioxidants (vitamin E, for example) in our skin.

Sun exposure (both UVA and UVB - radiation) caused damage to your skin, causing wrinkles, along with other skin diseases and cancer. Even small amounts of UV radiation can be the chemical processes in your skin, leading to wrinkles.

What can you do? Well, it's really a question of just using your common sense. Stop smoking - yes, easier said than done. Use sunscreen regularly (SPF 15 to 30) and make sure that both UVA and UVB protection. Eat well, get plenty of rest, take antioxidant supplements and be sure to drink plenty of water. Caffeinated beverages to eliminate, or at least reduce the amount you drink, and replace it with water. Drinking water is probably the most important help in preventing wrinkles ... think of it as moisturizing from the inside!
