Surviving Google's Aging Delay

The sandbox holding period is usually somewhere between 90 to 120 days, delaying the aging process seems to be much longer. I? Ve seen new sites delayed for up to 6-8 months.

The premise of the sandbox delay theory suggests that new sites are always punished for too many links too quickly. At the time I haven? T seen a scrap of evidence to support this claim.

The sandbox theory is refuted by the fact that new sites, in procuring relevant links experience the same delay in the Google SERPS climbing as the other new pages using the notes purchased text links. This credibility to think that new sites will not be penalized on the premise of the acquisition or the amount of incoming links, and supports my theory that it? S reciprocated links that are delayed by an aging filter.

It doesn? T appear? Makes sense? for Google to penalize sites for acquiring legitimate directory listings & building an optimal interconnection network. In my opinion, mainstream SEOs are confusing the existing sandbox effect, with Google? S New? Aging-filter? was that on the search scene earlier this year.

It seems likely that Google? Aging-S filter is the weight? Maturity? of inbound links and not the new site itself. Which means that in addition to the traditional ranking criterion, the age of the incoming links pages are now also available as.

I have consulted with and has many of my clients? new sites and despite the fact that they have hundreds of # 1 in Yahoo, Alta Vista, AllTheWeb & MSN for the keywords I? ve yet to see any remarkable results in Google until the 6-8 months.

The trend I? Ve noticed suggests that new sites are initially indexed; rank according to Google? S SERPS for a week or so and then literally disappear from the SERPS for several months. In most cases, can they? T find themselves with the obscure words? including their own name and address.

If you? New launches a new website don? T panic. Once you? Ve registered your domain name and hosting is configured, you should create a few temporary pages. Obtain links to them from other sites in the Google index, to delay the aging process count down. I recommend a site immediately with plenty of content, and the requirements for directory listings to start. The sooner Google is aware of your domain, the better. Just don? T hold your breath waiting for the results? It could be as long as 6-8 months!

Gauge your efforts by optimizing your website, where in the other search engines. Provided you? Re not in unethical practices, followed by Google? S Webmaster? Guidelines should give you an indication of where the ball park Google rank your site after the aging delay, just to be patient.

To this end, don? T, and optimize your pages source code and try to manipulate your rankings until your site in Google? S for at least 6-8 months. In other words, there's no need to reinvent the wheel, because it does not seem to matter what you do, your site will still be independent.

If you have non-directory links, reallocate that funding for AdWords advertising.

It is pointless to purchase links when you can invest in an AdWords or Overture campaign. Purchasing links is an investment you win? T a red cent ROI for at least 6-8 months, while an AdWords campaign drive targeted visitors to your site, you can immediately. Please note that Lycos, HotBot, AOL, Ask Jeeves, Iwon, Netscape & Teoma also paid results from Google! MSN, AllTheWeb, AltaVista & Yahoo receives paid results from Overture.

other search engines have an aging delay?

Google provides primary search results to other search engines. It seems only to be expected that your site may cause a delay in Google? S partner sites as well.

One way you can in this article, and I can? T stress this enough, is to ensure that your website to DMOZ, the open source directory. Google, in addition to the other major engines, receives directory results directly from DMOZ.

Yahoo and its partner sites don? T seem to be using an aging delay, not even MSN, so that your early efforts on these search engines can give you a competitive advantage in the Yahoo network.

At the end of the day, if it's all said and done surviving Google? S aging delay is just a matter of time. The days of purchasing instant link popularity and PageRank, and further on you will see Google Enter your website the recognition it deserves.
